The Trinity Hotshots are a wildland firefighting crew based in the southern end of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The crew was formed in 2001 and became a Hotshot crew in 2007 (learn more about hotshot crews by clicking on the U.S. Hotshot Association link below). The Trinity Hotshots have been traveling the country suppressing wildfires and serving communities for over 15 years. The Trinity Hotshots Golf Tournament was born out of one crew member’s desire to start a golf tournament and to give back to the charities that support wildland firefighters. That desire has grown into a tournament that hosts 120 golfers on an annual basis. We have partnered with the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (wffoundation.org) and the U.S. Hotshots Association - (ushotshots.com) to help fund their organizations. Wildland Firefighter Foundation
The Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s main focus is to help the families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. We honor and acknowledge the past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters.
